add postage & packing, rate D if required ref: br-rafbootsf-1115 RAF Sheepskin Flying Boots 1941 pattern - with AM marks and original internal tags (Air Ministry) dropped in 1944 dating the boots to 1941 to 1944 - the original leather ankle straps to prevent falling off were an addition to the earlier design as during Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain experience when bailing out taught pilots the earlier boot had a tendancy to fall off - "ITSHIDE" trademark and "ITS Rubber Co Ltd" The 1941 pattern boot later became the prefered choice of US aircrews in preference to their own supplied boots (check out period photos of the crew of the Memphis Belle!). In excellent undamaged original condition. |

ref: bru-hyderabad-8130 WW2 RAF Side Cap and solid silver cigarette box belonging to Air Gunner F. J. Andrew - Squadron No 110 (Hyderabad Squadron) Cap has label from maker E. Pearson and bearing F. J. Andrew's name - solid silver cigarette box marked "silver" and bearing the squadron's badge to lid and dates 4-9-1941 to 15-12-1943 and names of the 3 crew of the Blenheim MkIV Bomber "E. S. Hobbis, E. F. Page and F. J. Andrew" Squadron No.110 led the first RAF raids of WW2 on Wilhelmshaven along with Squadron No.107 on 4 Sept 1939 and later numerous campaigns including Dunkirk - finally posted to India March 1942 Both cap and cigarette box in used original condition the box having a lovely aged patina both to the exterior and interior. |

Feeling that civilian watches were not up to the mark, specifications for waterproof, luminous, reugulated to chronometer level, rugged case, black dial and sub seconds watches were submitted. The name still exists but was eventually bought by an importing company who now utilise the tradename on binoculars made in China In full working order and nice condition.
