    Produced in two sizes this one being the larger

    Original undamaged condition - awarded to Towns with successful contribution of War Bonds, displayed in Town Halls - here in Richmond Town Hall their plaque awarded in 1944 is still proudly displayed to this day (see 'More Images')

  • WW2 extremely rare British propaganda dart game - Material: paper over stiff card - includes its original cover and instructions how to play - Manufactured in England by "Welcom" - Designed 1939/40 by Alfred Morris for propaganda purposes - Game was to be played using rubber tipped suction cup darts (not included)

    An historic design with illustrations featuring Allied and Axis figures including Goebbels, Goering, Stalin, Ribbentrop, Mussolini, Chamelin, Daladier, Kingsley-Wood, Churchill,, Halifax, Chamberlain, Von Papen and Hitler in the centre. Each player starts with 365 points and points deducted for hitting Axis targets but increasing for hitting Allied targets - Winner of the "War" is the first to reach zero.

  • RAF Sheepskin Flying Boots 1941 pattern - with AM marks and original internal tags (Air Ministry) dropped in 1944 dating the boots to 1941 to 1944 - the original leather ankle straps to prevent falling off were an addition to the earlier design as during Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain experience when bailing out taught pilots the earlier boot had a tendancy to fall off - "ITSHIDE" trademark and "ITS Rubber Co Ltd"

    The 1941 pattern boot later became the prefered choice of US aircrews in preference to their own supplied boots (check out period photos of the crew of the Memphis Belle!).

    In excellent undamaged original condition.

    Cap has label from maker E. Pearson and bearing F. J. Andrew's name - solid silver cigarette box marked "silver" and bearing the squadron's badge to lid and dates 4-9-1941 to 15-12-1943 and names of the 3 crew of the Blenheim MkIV Bomber "E. S. Hobbis, E. F. Page and F. J. Andrew"

    Squadron No.110 led the first RAF raids of WW2 on Wilhelmshaven along with Squadron No.107 on 4 Sept 1939 and later numerous campaigns including Dunkirk - finally posted to India March 1942

    Both cap and cigarette box in used original condition the box having a lovely aged patina both to the exterior and interior.

(Army Trade Pattern) - immediate predecessor to the 1944 'Dirty Dozen' watches - Army issue Serial No "54500" - Manufacturer's No "2657913" - Date 1942 - fixed bars at the lugs - chromed waterrproof case - caliber 10.5 - 15 ruby movement - shock proof balance - manual wind

    An historic design icon, A. T. P. War Dept issued watches first became available to the Military in 1939 and were comprehensively used by the Military throughout WW2 - 17 Swiss watch companies manufactured these high quality watches for the Ministry of Defence - Originally supplied to the MOD without straps who then originally fitted them with leather straps but it was found that in tropical conditions these straps perished and they were eventually replaced by canvas straps

  • WW2 WWW (Watch Wrist Waterproof) Omega British Army Military Watch - One of the 12 watches affectionately known as the "Dirty Dozen" the first wrist watches specially commissioned by the M.O.D. from neutral Swiss watch makers for the British Army during the 1940'. Feeling that civilian watches were not up to the mark, specifications for waterproof, luminous, reugulated to chronometer level, rugged case, black dial and sub seconds watches were submitted.

  • Rare 1944 WW2 RAF Officer's War Dept Issue peaked cap - leather sweatband with velvet brow band with original issue War Dept Stamp "Z" for 1945 to the inside & "821" - complete with original impressive Kings Crown with red infill embroidered raised bullion Cockade with metal RAF eagle at centre - Air Force Blue wool, with woven mohair centreband - original black leather narrow chin strap usually associated with earlier caps - Interior with grey/blue, diamond padded, satin lining - classic green underside to peak - 4 black brass air vents as standard on these period caps

    Peaked caps were worn by all ranks of the Royal Air Force although Warrant Officer's and Airman were of an inferior quality - unlike the army this standard design was used for both service and dress - this particular cap with it's red infill to the King's crown and plain cloth peak without oak leaves identifies it as being for use by the ranks from Wing Commander, Squadron Leader, Flight Lieutenant, Flying Officer to Pilot Officer

  • WWII Binoculars - powerful x7 magnification - Maker marked "Barr & Stroud of Glasgow & London" - War Department Stamps - Patent dated 1940 serial no for 1941 - Original leather hanging strap - Original leather case also with hanging strap

    Barr & Stroud were leaders in the field of modern optics, producing binoculars, rangefinders and periscopes for the British Armed Forces and Navy among others, operating independently until 1977. The name still exists but was eventually bought by an importing company who now utilise the tradename on binoculars made in China

    In full working order and nice condition. If these had Third Reich markings they would be many many times more expensive to buy!

  • Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Swagger Stick displaying the White Rose of York emblem - Difficult to date, although the KOYLI existed from 1881 to 1968 they adopted the title "KINGS OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY" in it's entirity from 1921 to 1948 so we think it dates from the WWII era, during which they served in France, Norway and Italy.
